Growing up on a small family farm in Canada, James Hill, who goes by the moniker projectwhatever, defied all odds by becoming an internationally-known, award-winning jazz pianist. His pursuits in music have taken him all the way from Canada to India, teaching at the Global Music Institute in New Delhi, to performing in over thirty different countries as a pianist in the bands BADBADNOTGOOD and his self-led band Autobahn Trio. Audiences rarely know what to expect when attending a show led by projectwhatever because of his rapidly evolving, unique approach to playing the piano.
